Discussion and sharing opinion with UNOPS, UNDP and concerned government authorities about the project activities, GT staff withdrawal strategies, procedural of project hand over, future organization structure and other relevant issues.

Attended the International Seminar “The Right to Food: a challenge for Peace and Development in the 21st Century” Promoted by International Jacques Maritain Institute (Rome) with the technical support of FAO under High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, held in Rome, Italy on September 17-19, 2001 and presented a paper on “Banks and the Right to Food: The Experience of Grameen Bank”.

Attended the international workshop on Promotion of Investment and Trade in the Eastern South Asia Sub-region, Kolkata, India on October 18-19, 2001. 

Participated as a resource person in “Grameen Basic Training” in Beijing was held on June 26-28, 2002, organized by Grameen Trust and RDI, China. Visited two Grameen replication projects for monitoring and evaluation purpose.

Attended the Micro-credit Summit was held on November 10-13, 2002 in New York City.

Participate in a workshop as a Speaker on “Introduction to the basics of Designing of a Sustainable Microcredit Program to serve Very Poor People in the Developing Countries”.

Participated at the workshop as resource person on GB II in Vietnam was held on April 7-13, 2003 and made evaluation on CEP. Participated in the workshop as resource on Grameen II at Kathmandu, Nepal was held June 30-July 05, 2003.

Participated the China Microcredit Summit was held on September 22-23, 2003 Beijing, China and made an evaluation on a microfinance project.

Attended the Asia Pacific Regional Micro-credit Summit held on February 17, 2004 in Dhaka, Bangladesh and presented the paper “A sustainable program for most poor and most vulnerable people: The experience of Grameen Bank”.   Participated in the “CASHPOR’s Club 1 Million Workshop” as a Resource Person held on September 01-004, 2004 in Seremban, Malaysia and presented a paper on “Institutional Capacity-Building for Reaching a Million Clients: The Experiences of Grameen Bank”.

Participated as “Euro Mediterranean Conference on Microcredit” as Speaker organized by IPALMO, held on December 5-6, 2005, Rome, Italy and presented a paper on “Poverty Alleviation: The Experience of Grameen Bank”.

Paper presented in Plenary Session as Special Speaker at ‘FORUM DES SOLIDARITE NORD-SUD’ organized by The Guilde Europeenne du Riad in partnership with PlaNet Finance, held on December 1-3, 2005, Parc Chanot, Marseille, France.

Paper presented in the Regional Workshop on Social Protection as a Resource Person organized by the World Bank Institute along with South Asia Region, held on May 17-19, 2006 in Sri Lanka.
